Hi, I'm Austin Sobotka, a Ph.D. Candidate in Finance at the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management.

I am interested in a broad array of topics in financial economics. My current research areas include asset pricing, investments, investor expectations, political polarization, and market microstructure. 

I will be on the job market during the 2026/2027 academic year.
